1) No team in the state started 0-4 and finished 5-4. Glenbrook South and Nazareth Academy both started 0-4 and finished 4-5.
2) Two teams in the state started 4-0 and finished 4-5. They were Marion from downstate and Mundelein.
3) Downers Grove South started 0-3 and finished 6-3.
4) West Aurora started 5-0 and finished 5-4.
5) Carrollton started 5-0 and is now 5-3 and plays Saturday.
6) Chicago Noble/Golder started 4-1 and is now 4-4 and plays Saturday.
7) Deerfield started 4-1 and finished 4-5. The Warriors truly drew the short straw this year, having to take their turn in the huge Central Suburban South Division. Deerfield's enrollmemt is 1,489. The other five schools in the league range from 1,996 to 3,908. Meanwhile, Niles West (2,476 enrollment) won 6 games in the Central Suburban North and Maine West (1,954 enrollment) won 9 games. The smallest enrollment in the CSL North is 1,772.

All.... And a shoutout to Tinley Park. 0-9 last year and they get number five Thursday. Low playoff points though might keep the Titans out of postseason. Still well done.... Ratsy

DGS lost to anyone they played with a pulse. They seem to repeat the same thing every year. Lose all their nonconference games, lose to DGN, usually lose to WB and then win the rest against the weak teams in their conference to make the playoffs and get blown out. How the mighty have fallen.
