Should the IHSA Mandate Guardian Caps?

I’m waiting for high school & college to implement the lame ass onside kick & kickoff rules. What’s next? Tell the other team your plays

If we are talking prevention of CTE

Why is micro dosing not in the discussion as well?

A micro consists of something incredibly small that you feel 0 affects

Look at it like taking an aspirin

Take 2 headache goes away
Take the bottle…

It’s the same approach

Very interesting. If you could make some DisgustingSounds about the science behind this, it would be appreciated.

There is a lot of available information on Netflix

When it comes to concussions and brain health, I don’t think that this topic should be off the table.

Interesting source. There are also some neat shows on Netflix where they have contestants that want to bang each other, but are not allowed to and hilarity ensues.

You sound like you shouldn’t make decisions for children.
I would suggest that you look into Paul Stamets

If mental health actually interests you, he is an amazing starting point

Can't agree with any of this take. I'm all for updating the game for player safety. Most especially at the youth levels where kids aren't as developed.

Parker Washington of the Jacksonville Jaguars showed us in Preseason Week 1 that kickoffs under the new rules can still be exciting.

It will be interesting to see if teams just decide to kick it through the end zone and not risk returns...

We will see once there is data.
I think you're more likely to see teams make the ball uncatchable by kicking on a line drive. Kicking teams can move once the ball lands in the "catching zone" whether it's touched or caught or not.

We won't totally know until regular season starts but yes I can see that as well.
