Richards vs Reavis

Reavis owned Richards back in the day. It’s heartbreaking to see such an embarrassing beatdown. I believe 1985 was the last year they beat Richards. Hall Of Fame Bulldog Coach Coach K was so mad after he lost he did not shake hands. He came to the Reavis Football practice the following Monday & addressed the team. He apologized & shook everyone’s hand coaches & players. I like the Reavis Coach but perhaps he’s worn out his welcome. He’s not popular with everybody. Playing easy cupcakes then hoping to get a few other wins to go 5-4 each year & travel in a running clock beat down seems to be good enough there & a school down Harlem from Reavis has picked up that tradition started years ago by Oak Lawn. Back in the day 6-3,7-2,8-1 was a disappointing year at Reavis who could play with & beat anyone in the state. Racial makeup has changed there & in years past kids of Ram Football greats have been stars in other nearby schools. It’s bad enough in the past & unthinkable for Reavis to give up in the 50’s but nowadays it happens a bunch but almost 80 makes me sick. I’m a old Sica & Illini 8 guy so I hate it for anyone
