Final. Byron wins 32-27.Byron up 32-27 with 16 seconds left. Kicking off to RC.
Offer to become one. We can use plentyAs someone who has no skin in this game, I have to say the officiating at the end of the game cost Reed Custer big time. A holding call that should have been made by the linesman because it was right in front of him was made by the back judge on the other side of the field. Obviously, the linesman did not see a hold otherwise he would have thrown the flag. Then a second holding call on the defense moved the ball deeper into RC territory. Then the touchdown is signaled by the head linesman who didn't run in right away to see if the ball broke the plane. It took almost 10 seconds for the signal. This crew was too old, out of shape and out of position on too many plays. I don't know who assigns playoff games but they need to do a better job. Officials should not be deciding these games.

Did you not earn a playoff round?I am one.
Very glad I did. Now I’m headed to Harlem to see Prairie Ridge. Solo missionI really, really thought about making the trip to Byron, I just knew it would be a great one.
Nice runs, 1 pass interference, 1 defensive hold which were the correct callsHow did Byron get downfield so quickly after RCs last score?
I was confused by it also. Can someone explain why Byron head cough kick an extra point when up 4 with 20 seconds or so left on the clock. Is it not an absolute no brainer to go for 2. Moot point but just saying
Sometimes in the past I thought the OC gets a little too fancy from time to time. I didn’t see a ton of that today, but I definitely thought I’d see a few deep balls to 6. I thought RC had an advantage there. I like the RPO stuff but not to the short side as much. It was evident that Byron wasn’t gonna let the QB run it, but as a whole the RC offense was ok.Simple story. RC has better talent. Byron has much better coaching. Talent couldn’t beat coaching here today. Be interesting to see if Braidwood coaches stick around
