RBHS will compete in an expanded Upstate 8 Conference.

Important because... with West Aurora and R-B, it forces the league to split divisions (probably E/W) and it opens up a non-conference schedule. South Elgin, Glenbard East/South, and Bartlett need to find ways to prove their mettle, the rest of the U-46 clan, East Aurora and West Chicago will have to go find wins somewhere, something they couldn't do in the closed league schedule.

Quite the jump to go from a small school private conference to the upstate 8.

Hope they are ready to make the commitment it’s going to take to be successful with those teams for ALL SPORTS

Ridgewood and Elmwood Park able to get out of the Chicagoland Prairie after 1 year?

Not an option. SE has scheduled their non-cons and the “league” sets the rotational crossovers. Overall, this expansion is questionable.
I said it when I first heard it, not sure its really an upgrade for the top of U8 at all. I sense more changes coming sooner than later.
