Getting whooped. Gassed out from first long drive and Buckeyes just too much.
Getting to be a blowout.

He's a great coach who had a very bad game. The fake punt and field goal attempt were both horrendous decisions. But they battled until the end.The Greathouse kid is aptly named.
No quit in ND. Freeman is a very good coach.
The fake punt was open with a better throw it’s a first down. The FG if they make it isn’t bad call since you are down 13 with momentum, the odds of converting three 2 point plays are slim so they were going to need a FG but the shank was brutal. He's a great coach who had a very bad game. Exactly, both plays with better execution were perfect calls. Ohio State was just the better team this game. The fake punt was open with a better throw it’s a first down. Analytics actually say the field goal decision was a tossup with it leaning ever so slightly to field goal. He's a great coach who had a very bad game. The fake punt and field goal attempt were both horrendous decisions. But they battled until the end.
Also, the narrative that neither of these teams won a conference championship so they don't deserve to be there is pure silliness. We all love the NCAA basketball tournament, no?
😄😄 I didn't even notice the misspelling in the title of the thread. LOLDid not end up being a blow out, Notre Dame, please note the spelling, made it a game at the end.

At this point @corey90 there's no longer any point in correcting your thread title, now it would just make half the thread not make sense.😄😄 I didn't even notice the misspelling in the title of the thread. LOL
Are you really mad after the NC game? ND has shown it can attract high level DCs in recent years. Golden was a great coach but ND will reload with another great coach.Crap. Al Golden leaving to be DC with the Bengals.
Yes, I am that upset. ND defense had a bad first half and it killed them. The fact that he's going back to the NFL validates how good he is. Word is ND will likely promote from within, but at least in year 1 with a new DC there could be a step back. Are you really mad after the NC game? Very disappointing game to watch. ND did not play to their capability and they got outcoached by OSU coordinators showing new looks. With that said, the future is very bright for ND, who look like the odds on favorite or near favorite next season with nearly the entire team back.
I thought Golden flubbed the gameplan against OSU personally. Here’s the last 4 ND DCs:Yes, I am that upset. ND defense had a bad first half and it killed them. Entire team back? On offense yes, but the QB is still a question mark. On defense, they lose their top 2 DL and top 2 DBs as well as Jack Kiser. Odds on favorite, not quite. Irish are currently 16-1 to win all next year which is 7th choice.
Was not a fan of Leonard. They need a QB that can throw the ball. Will be interested to see who wins out between Carr and Angeli.I thought Golden flubbed the gameplan against OSU personally. Here’s the last 4 ND DCs:
Golden - NFL
Freeman - HC ND
Lea - HC in SEC (Vandy)
Elko - HC in SEC (A&M)
And the next Irish DC will leave in another 2-3 seasons. We’ll be just be fine there.
As far as players, we didn’t have Morrison most of the year. Watts will be a tough loss but the Irish always reload at Safety.
The QB is definitely a question mark, but I have faith in Freeman to solve that after getting Riley last offseason.
