Newton is 1-2, both narrow losses, one to a top 16 nationally ranked school.

They are ranked 36th overall in GA, 26th in the Atlanta area and 14th in 6A.

The team made the news earlier this summer when an assistant struck an opposing playing during a scrimmage for stepping on his foot.

Georgia football is tough, the last time the flyers played a Georgia team the offense didn’t show up, However this year I am going to take the flyers in this one. Newton has team speed nice size o-line and some good running backs and receivers Qb does not have a strong arm but does throw good short passes. The Flyers still will have to play mistake free football.
