LA showed up to play and MC didn’t. That’s it. Can’t not be ready when playing a team like LA, if you do show up not ready to go you get dog walked.

I said this in the esl game, but these refs are really bad. Seem to be out of position often. Not a good understanding of what PI is.

Agree! We’ve had 15 penalties so far this game!! There has been penalty after penalty called and it’s ruining the flow of the game. Refs need to let the boys play and stop these 3 minute ref huddles. This game is already close to 3 hours and it’s only mid 3rd quarter. This is longer than an NFL game with TV timeouts. The Loyola - York game was supposed to start 35 minutes ago.
What's weird is that there are actual penalties not being called. It's all very confusing
I’ll say didn’t show up since there is talent at MC and the games in the series are very rarely blowouts. But maybe they were outclassed this season. Not sure what the difference is. No one is saying MC is better than LA.
The process in which they choose the officials has to be looked at, clearly not the best doing it

Wouldn’t be the first time someone had eligibility concerns. Public schools are starting to have eligibility concerns as well. This isn’t just a private thing anymore.
This was a joke about them messing up and mentioning Jordan Lynch making plays in the game...
The PI on #3 for MC in the first half was ridiculous. I honestly couldn't believe that was the call when they announced it.
Those are the plays that MC doesn’t need. Line up and run Taylor or Wilson in for a TD. You’re up 27 points just run the ball.
Ok my original sarcastic comment was wouldn’t be the first time a private school had eligibility concerns. But I didn’t feel like trying to have to explain that sarcastic comment away. At this point with the announcers saying Lynch is all over the field, you might as well get all the good ribbing in now.

Some of these officials look woefully out of shape. Could that be a reason there are so many flags as they just cannot keep up with the speed the game, so they are throwing flags just because they think they see something or are expecting something to happen?
I don't think so. I've seen this crew in other weeks and it was not even close to this bad
