2~5 so far on the season after losing tonight…..was really hoping that would be a strong win for Loyola this season..…and for the State of Illinois for that matter

If I remember right the QB was really young. This St Xavier team is a year away from being back on top. Next year they will be much better.
X is definitely a year away. They lost a ton off last year’s team and are very young this year. Plus they have played a brutal schedule, as they always do.
California Preps has St. X as the #333 team in the country. That's higher than all but 5 or 6 IL teams.
St Xavier is now 5-6 and just won a playoff game. Next up for the Bombers is 10-1 Moeller. Mueller best St X by 3 earlier this season.
They made the playoffs with a 4-6 record. They played a murderers row schedule (Cincy Elder, Cincy Moeller, Loyola, Mishawaka Penn (IN), Cleveland St Iggy, Louisville Trinity, Lakota West (OH, 11-0). They lost a ton off that team last year, started slow, and are now rounding into form. They will probably be #1 in OH next year.
