Think it's going to depend on when the rain quits but wind could be a big factor. Per the weather channel for New Lenox on Saturday:Are light showers and 62 degrees playing on turf considered bad weather for most in the Midwest?
I get wind gusts being an issue (especially with kicking/returning), but both teams should be able to pass/throw the ball in equal conditions essentially (with-the-wind), at some point.
From my understanding through my nefarious contacts, SR and JC will be playing week 3 next year (and 2024) in a crossover.Should be a great game. First one was a barn burner. PC was a tough win for SR. JCA last played SR in 18 and 19 but JCA declined on renewing the contact. I wonder how much a 15 mile radius would effect their student body. It's shame both schools were on the same side of the bracket. JCA is favored by a score but it's very hard to beat a very good closely matched team twice in the same season. PC may win a upset by a field goal.
That will be great. Two storied programs. Had a younger brother who played at Joliet Junior College and has lot of JCA friends. He'll be tailgating. From my understanding through my nefarious contacts, SR and JC will be playing week 3 next year (and 2024) in a crossover.
