Thoughts?
What kind of offense does Oswego run? Can their defensive line match up with the Hilltoppers offensive line to stop running game? Looking forward to this one!
Does Oswego have a streaming service?
Will JCA stream the game? Thx!

I'm fairly sure I heard the JCA announcers say "see you next week at Oswego". They usually do away games if they can.

Should be a fun one. Both teams will know a lot more about themselves after this one. I know Oswego has a good defense and a highly touted linebacker. I am not sure what the size of their DL measures on average, but their defensive front against the mammoth JC OL will determine a lot here. Oswego will need to stop the run. Doing so would force JC to put the ball in the air more this week. Assuming Oswego has some success slowing the JC run game, that will tell us a lot about the versatility of this offensive attack. If they are forced to throw, how effective will it be?

JC's defense looked good. They will be tested more this week than last week.

Overall though, it will be strength on strength as the veteran Hilltopper offense takes on the veteran Panther defense.

Watched Oswego play Neuqua on nfhs, Oswego has a good defense. Oswego runs a shotgun with one or two backs next to the qb and sometimes an empty backfield. (spread). It certainly was effective against Neuqua. Neuqua looked really weak. I counted less than 35 players total on their whole team.

I know this is not a novel concept, but I’d like to see JCA open up the playbook. They’re gonna have to. Do they have the skill guys to do it?

Disappointed I wont be around for this one. Should be streamed, but I’m not sure where yet.

OHS blitzed a ton last week and Iowa recruit Cooney was all over the place.

Good question. I doubt they are just going to run over Oswego. They will need a more diverse offense this week, IMO. Tough road game against a very physical opponent.

This is more or less a repost of my in game post during Iowa City game.

The OL was good as expected. The new DL replacements were better than I expected and the defensive front 7-8 was very solid. We didn't get to see much from the QB, receivers and DB's. I wished they had attempted more passes and opened up the playbook a little more because JCA was heading into a tough part of their schedule.
