Olympia senior TE/LB Cole Bauer is a two way starter and also an impact player on both sides pof the football for the Spartans this fall. Bauer (6-foot-0, 200 pounds) has good overall athletic skills and abilities and could draw more recruiting looks and attention this fall.
Looking for a sleeper name to watch this fall for Olympia? Olympia senior RB/DB Cohen Alexander is another multi-sport two way starter for the Spartans who will again be asked to provided both leadership along with production on boith sides of the football this fall.

Olympia and head coach Eric Lyons is looking to get the Spartans back into the IHSA state playoffs this fall and make school history after positing a 9-3 record in 2023. Olympia head copach Eric Lyons has posted a 26-31 record at Olympia in 6 seasons and has led the Spartand to back to back IHSA state playoff appearances in 2022 and 2023 .
The biggest question facing Olympia this summer?
Can the Spartans replace some key names who graduated this past spring and get back into the IHSA state playoffs? Olympia will look for kids to step up this summer to replace some heavy graduation losses especially on the offensive skills including standout WR Chase Litwiller and multi-year starting QB Zach Keedy. The Spartans will no question get tested this season but they will have more than a fighting chance at earning a state playoff bid in 2024.
