Biggest Question facing Bloomington this fall?

Will we see a resurgence in the Purple Raiders football program this fall? Bloomington has sputtered over the past handful of seasons, a rarity from a program with a long tradition of winning year in and year out. Bloomington welcomes back a ton of experienced names for this fall, and several of those same players have multi-years of varsity seat time as well. Look for the Purple Raiders to make a run towards the upper tier of the Big 12 conference race this fall.

Impact Player for Bloomington: Senior RB/LB Walker Burnes. Burnes has been a two way starter and an impact player for the Purple Raiders since his sophomore year. Burnes is a good sized back with speed and wiggle and is also a sure tacklers and defender.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Bloomington Purple Raiders: Lots to like about the Purple Raiders this fall, but can this team get over the hurdle of playing with and competing against the top tier of the Big 12 schools? Bloomington will rely on an experienced lineup and can hopefully will be able to add some much needed depth to the roster this summer.
