I'm glad that we won, but still a very sloppy and undisciplined game from Edwardsville. Defense looked okay... not too bad, but not too good. Offense was about the same, just okay. Solid passing game, but an almost non existent running game. I think that Edwardsville will improve over the course of the regular season, but this will still be another somewhat down year. We'll likely go 6-3 or 5-4 and make the playoffs because of a weak conference, but it will likely be a first or maybe second round exit again.

Yeah, it wasn't even during a play. The Jackson defense jumped off sides and he started pointing to the infraction towards the referee and then collapsed in pain. He appeared to be okay on the sidelines and I'm hoping that he was kept out of the game only as a precaution. The defense clearly would have been better with him out there.
