Did You Check On Them?

For those of you who have Packer fan friends, have you checked on them to make sure they are OK today? I checked on mine and they have all survived.

That game was actually lost by GB in the first quarter in my opinion. My son and I watched the game and at the time when GB was scoring FGs when they should have been scoring TDs we both said it could portend disaster for GB in the end. But still, possession of the ball and a 12 point lead with 5:00 to go. Yikes.

McCarthy made the critical mistake we sometimes see coaches make in the playoffs. He was an aggressive coach all during the season and then went away from his style of coaching when they needed him to be aggressive. I have always said it is a big mistake when coaches get to playoff games and then don't do the things that got them there in the first place. Fourth and 12 inches and his rear end tightens up like a snare drum.

im getting a kick out of all the cub fans/bear fans reveling in the choke when they whine about when Sox fans root vs them.

I have to disagree a little Dean. We live here so it appears that the Bears fans are relishing in it and some are. But the fans who are REALLY relishing in it are the Cowboy fans. That part of the bracket was very interesting the whole way. What went around came around didn't it?

First week of the playoffs, a pass interference penalty was called against the Cowboys and then was undone by the refs. Many think that call was the key to the Cowboys win and felt the Lions got screwed. Week two, a pass is completed near the goal line by the Cowboys against Green Bay. Then the call is overturned and that call probably cost the Cowboys that game. People in Dallas felt hosed. Now in the championship Green Bay has Seattle all but beat in the closing minutes and managed to rescue a loss from the jaws of victory. I'd say it's Dallas fans more than Bears fans laughing.
