Eventhough I was a Maine Easter - I was a Park Ridge resident growing up, so I absolutely knew the legend of Dave Butz. Met him once - He came and talked to the senior Falcon traveling team one day, and we went out and beat Cicero-Berwyn 67-0.

He was a key part of Washington’s defense for the franchise’s first two Super Bowl-winning teams after the 1982 and 1987 seasons.

Loved the REDSKINS in the 80's. They played physical football and had everything from the hogs to the fun bunch. John Riggins would run wind sprints for an hour after practice then go over and have a few cold ones with the 0-line behind the equipment shed. Crank up that diesel 🚛
