I noticed a couple weeks ago that their score postings seemed to be off...
Have I lost my mind? Isn't it usually the team we are viewing/reading about with the score on the left, other team on the right, so you can easily tell a win from a loss? This year they seem to flip back and forth. I thought they might be doing it based on home/away but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Also - it's 10/7 (almost 10/8), and their scoreboard is missing scores from 10/4 and 10/5.
I know I'm approaching dinosaur age, but is HS football on its way out, or just at DH?

I can forward this along but in all honsty I really have no idea what this is about.

The historical method of representing scores at sites like DH was:

The left column score is the team I am viewing, the right column is the opponent. Look at DH history, look at IHSA, etc. If it's represented "normally" I don't need the Result column, I can tell by the scores what happened. But DH shows the score as 28 - 0, making it look like Schaumburg won the game (based on the traditional representation of scores).
It gets more complicated... IHSA says game was 35-0 and DH says 28-0.
Just bad data any way you look at it.

Last try...
DH shows the scores like this (Schaumburg):
Antioch 12 - 7 (correct)
Elk Grove 21 - 22 (wrong - Schaumburg won, should be 22 - 21)
Niles North 21 - 49 (wrong - Schaumburg won, should be 49 - 21)
Niles West 21 - 14 (correct)
Palatine 28 - 0 (wrong - Palatine won, should be 0 - 28, IHSA says Palatine scored 35???)
Conant 42 - 7 (correct)
Barrington 6 - 42 (correct)

Palatine:
St. Charles North 28 - 27 (wrong - St. Charles North won, should be 27 - 28)
Prospect 14 - 9 (correct)
Evanston 19 - 25 (wrong - Palatine won, should be 25 - 19)
New Trier 27 - 3 (correct)
Schaumburg 28 - 0 (score order correct, but IHSA says Palatine scored 35???)
Hoffman Estates DH shows NO SCORE
Fremd 21 - 28 (wrong - Palatine won, should be 28 - 21)

If I would ever subscribe to DH again, it would probably be for HS sports, but not if they can't report scores correctly.

I emailed them before I posted anything here - no response.
It's not worth the fight. It makes me feel a little better about not subscribing any more, but I understand the realities of our changing world.
