This is typically done to ensure someone already in place gets the job for the year.A little late with the season a few short weeks away to quit.He couldn't announce sooner?
It was. I was told they had agreed in principle over the Spring with an MC coach who is a Simeon grad but it fell through for whatever reason and he returned to MC. It sounds like they are being inclusive to hiring an Alum and maybe they couldn’t find one qualified in time so they gave the interm job to the DC while the search continues.Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't this been a rumor for months now?

It was actually suppose to happen last year and was basically a done deal but as mentioned things fell through and Dante came back for last season. He made it pretty clear last season that this could very well be it and knowing that program it was no surprise to anyone....they had things in place for this.....A little late with the season a few short weeks away to quit.He couldn't announce sooner?
