Ben Clawson is the Swiss army knife of athlete for the Huskies this fall. Clawson is an impact player and go to guy for Hersey whether he's playing either running back or at receiver and look for the Huskies to get the football into Clawson's hands as much as possible this fall.
Toughest Overall Schedule?
Hersey- The Huskies will open up the season this fall playing at Lincoln Way West then will host Palatine in Week 2. While the next two weeks aren't world beaters (Maine East and Glenbrook North) overall htis is still a pretty solid first four weeks of the regular season in my opinion.
Sleeper Player to Watch?
Buffalo Grove senior DE Trystan Anderson or Prospect junior QB Frank Covey- I feel good about both Buffalo Grove senior DE Trystan Anderson as well as Prospect junior QB Frank Covey as two names who will have a shot at making a major impact this fall. Anderson is an impressive, long and lanky rush end for the Bison who can be a highly disruptive player on the Buffalo Grove defense along with getting some time on offense this fall. Covey was a standout receiver last spring and will take over the quarterback spot from graduated multi-year starter Frank "Gary" Moeller. Covey is already drawing various recruiting interest and attention this summer and looks to be in prime position for a breakout season for the Knights this fall.
Top 2021 Conference Games?
Buffalo Grove at Prospect August 27th- A very nice early conference game will no question give us an idea on how advanced the Bison are this season, along with giving us a better idea on exactly where Prospect is as well.
Buffalo Grove at Rolling Meadows October 8th- Yet another old school rivalry game that remains one of the most hostile games in the Mid Suburban conference.
Prospect at Hersey October 15th-A possible Mid Suburban East conference title championship game?

Palatine at Hersey- This Week 2 Mid Suburban crossover game will feature two of the best teams in the Mid Suburban conference. Plenty of people in and around the Mid Suburban have issues and opinions on which side of the conference is better each and every season and this game is no question for big time bragging rights.
