Coach Ivlow

Now that the season is over and the hoopla has calmed down some... just thought I'd write about coach some.

A long time ago I wrote that being a Brook fan was like being a Cubs fan, this was before 2011 and 2016 respectively, as that championship was an elusive lil devil. But coach was able to clear that hurdle for us. Not only that, he managed to keep the the name strong despite a substantial influx in schedule quality. It's a little different when Andrew is the toughest team on the docket. As far as being personable I don't think I've ever met someone that didn't like coach Ivlow as a person, that goes for random fans, to player parents, to players themselves.

If you're reading, thanks coach and good luck moving forward with whatever you choose to do.

Crossbones that is the best truthful post you have made in years. Coach Ivlow was a true ambassador of Bolingbrook HS even beyond the football program. He will be missed in the conference first and foremost. The young adults he mentored all have been blessed. If Mr. Aaron Bailey had stayed healthy I believe a second championship would have been won. Good luck to John going forward to fill out his path of living to the fullest. Thanks also Crossbones for being you!
