After a Week 3 loss to Hillcrest, Richards has tallied 7 straight wins including a 1st Round victory last Friday versus Washington. Senior QB, Javon Robinson, and future Iowa Hawkeye, Senior RB Leshon Williams, have been leading the Bulldogs all season. The Richards Defense has been stellar as well allowing roughly 12 points per contest. The Bulldog “D” will definitely need to bring their “A” game as Peoria has been lighting up scoreboards all season in the Big 12 Conference. The Lions average 56 points a game and kicked off the season with a 96 point effort against Champaign-Centennial. Jim Blaney, Jack McInerney and Mark Krueger will call the action in Oak Lawn.

Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox is the site as they host the Crete-Monee Warriors in a Class 6A Second Round match-up. After falling to Cary-Grove last Fall in the 6A State Title game, Crete-Monee responded with a perfect 9-0 Regular Season and then a dominating 1st Round victory over Bremen. QB, Trayvon Rudolph, hopes to lead his squad back to the Championship. The Celtics are definitely “battle tested” playing teams like Montini, St. Rita and Willowbrook during the Regular Season. Last week they pulled off a big 1st Round win on the road against Normal West. Jim Blaney, Jack McInerney and Mark Krueger will call the action!
