An opportunity lost here with Morgan Park, Simeon, and Kenwood hosting 2nd round games. 1pm 5A game, 4pm KW v Bremen, 7pm Crete v Simeon on Saturday would've been awesome for the city at Gately!!! Simeon and Kenwood plays 1pm Saturday while Morgan park plays Friday night.

CPS has fielded plenty of good football teams in the past, and many of them beat the Catholics in the original Prep Bowl. Overall, from 1927-2014, the record is CCL 57, CPS 26. Fenger won three games in the '40s and 50s. Julien, Tilden, Hubbard, and Lindblom all won more than once. But Loyola beat CVS when Dick Butkus was there.
