Not very hard to put together the Top 10 8A since in a large majority of the time it's just a recap of the Chicagoland top schools.

1. Maine South
2. Loyola
3. Lw East
4. Marist
5. Waubonsie Valley
6. H-F
7. Palatine
8. Lyons Township
9. Naperville Central
10. New Trier
Others to consider?
Edwardsville- is literally the smallest 8A team in the preseason. Always solid always good but I still feel East Side is the top of the Southwestern for now.
Oswego/Hins C/Barrington/Huntley/St. Charles East/Bro Rice/Stevenson/OPRF/West Aurora/Joliet West
First to fall/makes me a bit nervous? Loyola for some reason still scares me Week 1 against Phillips....and Maine South at Lake Ellyn in Week 1 can go either way to be honest but even a loss won't eliminate the Hawks from the top tier of the 8A poll in my opinion.
