Batavia 25 - LWC 21 F

LWC opened with a drive getting big rushing yards, but confusingly go for the pass on 4th and 1

So far from what I said yesterday LWC is controlling clock and executing. 2-1 time of possession advantage and getting the ball back in the second half first.

Very well executed game plan by the Knights here in the first half

Batavia just can't seem to wrangle in Woodburn still. Knights open the half with a long drive resulting in a 4th down stop. Again on a pass play. I don't get it

Huge penalty as a sack and then a deadball personal foul on Batavia. Almost looked like a Batavia player got shoved into the LWC player who made the sack, but punted away either way. Knights ball at midfield

Absolutely wild. Another ball hanging in the air somehow goes uncontested by a Batavia DB on 3rd and 10

Batavia finally gets to the QB on another 3rd down for a loss of 14. I believe first punt of the game for the knights

Batavia 3rd and 6 at the Central 20. False start. 3rd and 11. Boot left, incomplete. Pass interference in the end zone! Wow.

If you’re LWC with a ball control offense and down only 4 with 5 plus minutes you take that any day of the week. Let’s see what happens from here.

Central picking on the one Batavia DB. Just not contesting throws even though tight coverage. Central now at their own 30

Thought aiding the runner was illegal in HS or did that get changed a couple years back? Can't remember
