Impact Player for Mt. Zion: Senior WR/DE Drew London. London is a two way play makers who is drawing FBCS/D2 level scholarship looks and offers so far this spring. London is a big, strong athletic playmaker and a big key on both sides of the ball this coming season.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Mt. Zion Braves: The Braves had a strong 2019 season (10-1) winning the Apollo conference title and then lost to Joliet Catholic in Class 5A second round action. The Braves and head coach Pat Etherton welcomes back a nice core of experienced starters on both sides of the football for this fall. If the Braves can reload a bit on both the offensive and defensive line they have a shot at making a return visit and potentially deeper run in 5A this fall.
