Impact Player for Hoffman Estates
Hoffman Estates will look towards a handful of senior starters back this fall to help the Hawks continue it's winning ways in 2025. Keep an eye on Hoffman Estates senior RB Landon Ford who is a hard hitting running back who has the ability to make opposing defenders miss on a regular basis.
On the defensive side of the football also keep an eye on Hoffman Estates senior DB JMari Jackson who is a speedy, twitchy athlete type who is a strong cover corner who can support the run along with lock up any and all opposing receivers this coming season.

Hoffman Estates and head coach Tim Heyse has built the Hawks into a consistent winner, posting a career record of 52-29 in 8 seasons at the helm. Hoffman Estates has made the IHSA state playoff field in 6 of the last 7 playoff seasons only missing the IHSA state playoffs in 2019 under Tim Heyse. The Hawks in 2024 made the Class 7A state playoff field and lost in Round 2 action to Lincoln Way Central to end the season at 7-4. 2025? The Hawks will welcome back 11 returning starters (6 offense 7 defense) and also possess a solid underclassmen group ready to make a bigger contribution. Look for the Hawks to again challenge in the Mid Suburban West conference race and to make the IHSA state playoff field in 2025.
The biggest question facing Hoffman Estates this summer?
Can the Hawks replace the graduation loss of standout ATH Nathan Cleveland who was a talented and versatile 4 year varsity starter and key impact player? Cleveland pretty much did it all for the Hawks over the last handful of seasons including leading the Hawks offense at quarterback. The Hawks might not have anyone as impactful as Cleveland n the roster...but the overall talent level is still pretty solid here for Hoffman Estates.
