Impact Player for Wilmington?

Wilmington senior RB/LB Kyle Farrell has been a multi-year starter, All State player and impact player for the Wildcats on both sides of the football. Farrell, who has also been a multi-year varsity starter for Wilmington will continue to draw steady recruiting looks and interest this summer ands fall.

Looking for a sleeper name to watch this fall for Wilmington? Wilmington senior LB Ryan Nelson is a good sized and physical linebacker who is oner of several returning starters back this fall for the Wildcats defense.

EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2024 Wilmington Wildcats

Wilmington and veteran head coach Jeff Reents has build a small school enrollment power over the past few decades. Wilmington head coach Jeff Reents has posted a 273-64 record in 30 seasons as the Wildcats head coach amd Reents has led the football program to IHSA state titles in 2004, 2021 and 2023.

The biggest question facing Wilmington this summer?

Can the Wildcats reload on a handful of key positions (QB/WR/OL/DL) and continue it's winning ways in 2024? Wilmington no question had a senior heavy starting lineup in 2023 especially on the offensive side of the football. The key for the Wildcats has always been the offensive line play and as long as Wilmington can find some linemen to step up this summer, they will be a strong team with a chnce at repeating as a state title champion this fall.
