Smith, who recently gave Illinois State his verbal commitment is a name that could very well conti ue toi draw more recruiting looks and attention this summer and fall.

Maroa Forsyth and veteran head coach Josh Jostes has built the Trojans into one of the State of Illinois best small enrollment public school programs over the psst few decades. Maroa Forsyth head coach Josh Jostes has posted an impressive 224-63 overall record in 24 seasons and has led the Trojans to state football titles in 2006 and 2012 along with posting second place finishes in 2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2017 and in 2018.
The biggest question facing Maroa Forsyth this summer?
Can the Trojans snap it's back to back 12-1 finishes and get back into the IHSA state title game in 2024? Maroa Forsyth has been a consistent winner year in and year out and has anyone reloaded year in and year out better than the Trojans under Josh Jostes? The locked Sangamo conference is solid each season and should provide a strong test for the Troajsn this fall. Look for this team and program to again challenge all comers in 2024.
