Impact Player for Joliet West?

Joliet West senior OLB Micah McNair is a speedy, twitchy athlete who is already holding various FBS and FCS scholarship oiffers so far this summer. McNair is a talented multi-sport athlete who I get the feeling will see playing time on both sides of the football this fall.

Looking for a sleeper name to watch this fall for Joliet West? Joliet West senior DL Keshawn Wiley is an interior defensive linemen and a very tough player to block who has very good bend and leverage who can also be explosive at times.

EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2024 Joliet West Tigers

Joliet West and head coach Dan Tito is looking to build up it's 8-2 record in 2023 this fall. The Tigers made the 2023 Class 8A state playoff field and lost to St. Ignatius in opening round action. Dan Tito is in his third year as the Tigers head coach and has posted a 12-7 record.

The biggest question facing Joliet West this summer?

Can Joliet West reload this summer and find several replacements that graduated this past spring? Joliet West will need to replace 16 graduated starters from a season ago including 9 starters on offense. The non conference schedule will be an early challenge for the Tigers conference but the SW Prairie East is not exactly overwhelming and this Tigers team should be one of a handful of contenders for the conference crown again this season. I can see this team getting to say a 5-4 caliber season and getting back into the post-season.

Preseason Ranking? Not yet.
