Impact Player for Nazareth Academy:

Senior WR/DB Justin Taylor (6-foot-1, 190 pounds). While the Road Runners are never shy on high level talent, you'll be hard pressed to find a more valuable player in all thee phases than Justin Taylor. Taylor is an impact receiver who can also play in the slot as well as at running back when needed. Taylor is also a terrific cover man and tackler on defense along with being a very strong kick returner. Look for Justin Taylor to end up playing at the high D1 level in college, and his versatility and athletic ability is impressive.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Nazareth Academy Road Runners:

The Road Runners (7-5) struggled early in the 2021 regular season (including a surprising 0-3 start) yet found a way to make the IHSA Class 5A state playoff field and made it to the state quarterfinal round, losing to eventual state champion Fenwick to end the season. Nazareth Academy and Hall of Fame head coach Tim Racki will look towards a strong core of returning starters to again carry this program deep into the post-season this fall.
