Impact Player for Maroa Forsyth:

Senior RB/TE/LB Aiden Riser (5-foot-11, 190 pounds).Riser will be a multi-year and multi-positional starter for the Trojans this season. Riser will no question be asked to step up and try to fill the shoes of graduated RB/LB Cade Culp this season and become a leader on and off the field.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Maroa Forsyth Trojans:

The Trojans (8-3) had a rare relatively quick exit from the IHSA state playoff field in 2021, losing to Pana in the second round of the 2A state playoffs. The Trojans and veteran head coach Josh Jostes has built one of the state's best and most consistent winners in the small enrollment classes, and look for Maroa to again compete for a state title this fall.
