Impact Player for Kaneland :

Junior QB Troyer Carlson (6-foot-3, 175 pounds). Carlson is coming off a very strong 2021 sophomore year at the varsity level for the Knights. Carlson, who has started to draw steady recruiting attention this spring has a terrific arm and is also a true dual threat quarterback who is on track for a big fall season.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Kaneland Knights :

The Knights (5-5) made the Class 5A state playoff field in 2021 and was eliminated in Round 1 by eventual state champion Fenwick. Look for the Knights to reload this summer and having 12 returning starters back in the fold (5 offense 7 defense) is a great place to start. The biggest question will be if the Knight can reload a bit on both the offensive and defensive lines this summer. The early schedule for the Knights will no question be a challenge (Andrew/Geneva/@ Morris) but will also allow Kaneland to get a good feel for where they are at as a team after the first three weeks of the regular season.
