EDGY's Quick Take on the Crystal Lake South Gators

The Gators (5-5) was able to make the IHSA Class 7A state playoff field last season and lost to Harlem in opening round action. The Gators have now been a state playoff team for the past three seasons (2018/2019 and 2021) and will rely on an experienced team on both sides of the football this coming fall. While the experience and depth will be there...the biggest question facing Crystal Lake South is can they replace the lost offensive production when QB Justin Kowalak, a three year varsity starter for the Gators.
