Impact Player for Collinsville:
Senior RB/WR Jerry Richardson. Richardson is a standout weapon and do it all for the Kahoks. Richardson plays running back, receiver along with returning kicks and punts and can and will also play on the defensive side of the football when needed. Look for Richardson to be asked to provide leadership for the Kahoks this coming fall on and off the field.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Collinsville Kahoks:
The Kahoks (8-2) was able to charter the unknown waters of an Independent school in 2021 and was able to post a strong regular season showing and made the Class 7A state playoff field. Collinsville was then upset in Class 7A opening round action 28-21 at home to Geneva to end the 2021 season. Collinsville and head coach Colton Rhodes welcomes back 19 returning starters for the fall season (8 offense 11 defense) from last year's state title team and expect the Kahoks to again make the IHSA state football playoff field.
