We will participate in the SLMFCA 7on7 tournament and spend the day at Chatham for their one day tournament. We will work locally beyond those two days as of now.
Impact Player for Belleville Althoff:
Senior RB Malik Nave (5-foot-10, 176 pounds).Nave led the Crusaders in rushing and touchdowns in the fall 2021 season. Nave will be one of the key leaders and will be asked to again provide offensive production for an offense expecting bigger things this fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Belleville Althoff Crusaders
The Crusaders (3-6) had been on a nice program wide run from say 2012 thru 2017 which included two second place finishes (2012 2A and 2015 4A) but the program has struggled to get back on the winning side of the leader. The Crusaders and second year head coach Austin Frazier will look towards a very experienced group back this fall to lead the way. Overall numbers and depth remain an issue for Althoff (and for what 2/3rd of the football playing schools these days?) but if the Crusaders can catch a few breaks in the health department they have a chance to better last seasons 3-6 record this fall.
