2022 Team 7on7 or Team Summer Camp?

West Aurora-June 22nd
Impact Player for Waubonsie Valley:
Junior WR/DE Julian Johnson (6-foot-5, 200 pounds) is a transfer in from Metea Valley who no question will raise the overall talent level for Waubonsie Valley this fall. Johnson, a multi-sport athlete has great size and length and will be a big target in the Warriors play action passing game this season. Look for Johnson to also be used at times on defense, and Johnson is a track kid who also has very good speed for a kid with an oversized frame.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Waubonsie Valley Warriors:
The Warriors (3-6)missed the 2021 IHSA state playoff field and with a few breaks here and there could have easily gone from 3-6 to say 5-4? The Warriors posted close games last season against Oswego East, St. Charles East, Naperville Central and Naperville North. The Warriors will welcome back a solid core of returning starters especially on offense, yet the biggest question will be can Waubonsie Valley reload on the defense side of the football with just two starters back this season? I can see this Waubonsie Valley team making a run at a state playoff berth this season, and a big key will be getting off to a solid start this fall.
