Impact Player for Romeoville:
Senior DB Kaden McShaw (5-foot-10, 145 pounds) is an experienced cornerback who has really good speed and instincts, makes good reads and is also a physical defender who is as strong playing the run as he is in coverage. The Spartans are looking for big improvements this fall and look towards McShaw and the Spartans defense as a key this season.

The Spartans (1-8) have continued to struggle to getting back to winning ways over the past several seasons. This program, which back in the 1990's was a yearly playoff contender has made the IHSA state playoffs just once (2013) since the 2002 season, when Romeoville made the playoffs in three straight seasons from 2002 thru 2000. Head coach Justin Trovato and staff continues to put in hard work in building up the overall numbers on all levels and look for the Spartans to make a move to break out of the bottom portion of the Southwest Prairie East in 2022.
