Impact Player for Rock Island:

Senior RB/LB Quonterrion Brooks (5-foot-10, 190 pounds) is a very steady and impressive two way starter for the Rocks. Brooks, who will also be a multi-year starter for Rock Island this fall will continue tio draw steady recruiting looks and attention this summer and fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Rock Island Rocks

The Rocks (6-4) was able to make the 2021 IHSA Class 6A state playoff field and lost in one of the more memorable Class 6A state opening round games in history. Rock Island lost to Springfield 94-72 in IHSA record playoff game for offensive production to end the season. Look for Rock Island and head coach Ben Hammer to reload once again behind a deep group of experienced starters on both sides of the football (7 offense 7 defense) and for the Rocks to again be a factor in the Western Big 6 title hunt.
