Senior RB/LB Garrett Gensler (6-foot-1, 195 pounds) is one of several two way starters and impact players for the Hubs in 2022. Gensler will be a rare four year varsity starter who has impressive size and physical tools for the higher college level. Look for Gensler to draw more recruiting looks and attention this summer and fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Rochelle Hubs
The Hubs (8-3) posted a very solid season in 2021 and look to be in line to again challenge in the Kishwaukee River/Interstate 8 Blue and also in Class 5A this fall. The Hubs welcome back several returning starters (7 offense 8 defense) and multi-year varsity starters and keep an eye on the Hubs who could very well be a preseason Top 10 ranked team in Class 5A polls.
