Senior RB/LB Steven Siegel (6-foot-0, 210 pounds) is one of several returning starters back this season who was also a key player for the Rockets state playoff run in 2021, Siegel will also be asked to again play on both sides of the football this season for the Rockets.

The Rockets (12-1) made the Class 4A state playoff field in 2021 and lost to eventual state champion Joliet Catholic in semifinal round action. Richmond Burton and Hall of Fame head coach Mike Noll has this program clicking and I fully expect the Rockets to reload and make another deep post-season run in 2022. The biggest question for Richmond Burton this summer is who steps up and becomes the go-to guy with the graduation loss of do everything RB/LB Brock Wood?
