Impact Player for Prospect:

Senior QB Frank Covey (6-foot-3, 190 pounds). Covey, who is already verbally committed to Northwestern is a standout al around athlete who will be able to play and become an impact player on either side of the football this fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Prospect Knights:

The Knights (10-3) and head coach Dan DeBoeuf led the Knights to a deep Class 7A state playoff run, which saw the Knights lose to St. Rita in the Class 7A state semifinal game. Prospect will welcome back 12 returning starters (7 offense 5 defense) this fall including some key impact performers, and will again be considered one of the favorites to win the Mid Suburban East along with making another state playoff appearance in Class 7A. The Knights will also be a highly ranked team in both Chicagoland and Class 7A preseason polls.
