EDGY's Quick Take on the Plano Reapers:
The Reapers (6-4) made the 2021 Class 4A state playoff field and lost to Kewanee in opening round action to finish the season. Look for Plano and head coach Rick Ponx to rely on a nice core of returning starters back for this fall, including 7 starters back on defense while the offense will also welcome back some key names. The biggest question for the Reapers is can they continue to add more overall numbers and depth program wide this summer and beyond? Look for Plano to again battle all comers in the Interstate 8 Blue and to again challenge to gain a state playoff spot in 2022.
