Senior OL Michael Jimmar (6-foot-6, 290 pounds) is already committed to NIU and look for Jimmar's recruiting to remain ongoing this summer and into the fall. Jimmar has Power 5 size and potential, and will be asked to provide a high level of production and leadership this fall for the Bengals on and off the field.

The Plainfield East Bengals (5-5) made the 2021 Class 7A state playoff field and lost to Hononegah in opening round action to finish the season. Look for the Bengals and head coach Brad Kunz to rely on a strong core of returning starters along with an impressive underclassmen group this coming season. The offensive skills has some talent and impressive young names in both 2025 QB Brandon Parades and 2025 WR Quinn Morris. Also incoming transfer senior DB Dalonte Butcher (Montini) is another high level athlete and player who can make an impact for the Bengals this fall. Look for the Bengals to compete and challenge for the SWPE conference title and another IHSA state playoff berth.
