Impact Player for Oak Park River Forest
Senior OL/DL Cole Robertson (6-foot-3, 280 pounds) is an impressive two way starter and long term varsity impact player for the Huskies this fall. Robertson, who is drawing consistent FBS/FCS and D2 recruiting attention this summer and will continue to see his recruiting stock rise this fall. Robertson is a leader on a very strong and impressive OL/DL group this season at OPRF.
EDGY's Quick Take on the OPRF Huskies:
The Huskies (4-5) just missed out on making the 2021 IHSA football state playoff field, and a Week 9 loss to York (36-33) no question was a huge swing game that could have allowed OPRF a state playoff spot with a win. Look for the Huskies to rely on a very good core of returning starters back this fall (6 offense 8 defense) including a big and very impressive line play on both sides of the football. Look for the Huskies to be in the thick of things in the West Suburban Silver race this season, a race that seems to grow closer and closer by the day this summer. I'm looking for the West Suburban Silver and OPRF to be much improved in 2022.
