Impact Player for North Mac:
Senior OL Cooper Starks (6-foot-5, 320 pounds) is an All State caliber linemen who is verbally committed to Vanderbilt. Starks is a terrific combination of power and a fundamentally sound inside linemen for the Panthers.
EDGY's Quick Take on the North Mac Panthers:
The Panthers (5-5) made the 2021 IHSA Class 2A state playoff field and lost to Bismark Henning in opening round action to end the season. The Panthers will also be on the move this fall, leaving the Sangamo conference and joining the South Central conference for 2022. Look for the Panthers to rely on an experienced starting lineup back this fall with 15 starters (8 offense 7 defense) led by All State OL Cooper Starks. Like all smaller enrollment schools, the biggest question facing the Panthers is can they add more overall numbers and depth this summer?
