Impact Player for Niles West
Junior RB/LB Joey Pantazis (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) is a multi year varsity starter and also a multi-positional key for the Wolves. Pantazis was a big offensive weapon in 2021 for the Wolves and will be expected to carry a heavy work load again on both sides of the football this fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Niles West Wolves:
The Wolves (2-7) won it's first two non conference games in 2021, but then wasn't able to find a win the rest of the season. Niles West will again look to get off to a strong start this fall and look to have two potential winnable games in Thornton and district rival Niles North. Unfortunately for the Wolves, they will play again in the rugged Central Suburban South and take on several playoff caliber teams. If the Wolves can find a way to get a few conference wins they could chalenge for a state playoff bid this season.
