Impact Player for Morris:

Senior QB/LB Sam Reddinger (6-foot-1, 190 pounds). Reddinger is an all conference and all area performer who has been a two way starter for Morris since his sophomore season. Reddinger has been drawing recruiting looks and interest this spring and expect more schools to look into this impressive overall athlete this summer and fall as well.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Morris High School Football Team

Morris back in January voted to eliminate the school's original nickname Redskins, and the school is now in search of a new sports nickname for this coming season. Morris and head coach Alan Thorson will welcome back a ton of experienced player on both sides of the football including a handful of key multi-year varsity starters. The schedule is again challenging but look for make the IHSA football state playoff field.
