Impact Player for Montini Catholic:

Senior QB Cole Teschner (6-foot-2, 205 pounds) has been on the recruiting radar screen for a few years now, and can he step up and lead the Broncos back to the state playoffs and make a deep run this season? Teschner's senior video will no question draw a ton of eyeballs early this season and the better the season the better Teschner's recruiting stock will rise.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Montini Catholic Broncos:

The Broncos (3-6) missed the IHSA state playoff field for the first time since the 1992 season, something that will not be tolerated in Bronco country. Look for Montini to bounce back as they bring back several talented names on both sides of the football this summer. Montini has talent and experienced talent, but can they come together as a team and get things rolling again this fall? The schedule is no gimme with strong early games along with finishing with some monster power programs to end the regular season in Marist, Nazareth Academy and JCA. I'm expecting to see the Broncos challenge for a conference title in the CCL/ESCC Orange this season and get back into the postseason. The recent transfer loss of RB Josh Robinson (Bolingbrook) is no question a big blow to the Broncos run game and offense.

Robinson no doubt a big loss but I was impressed with the backup last year before he got injured.

Brook had another kid a while back from Montini and they converted him to their starting RB. I can't remember his name.
