EDGY's Quick Take on the Maine West Warriors

The Warriors (2-7) had a disappointing 2021 season as the Warriors missed the IHSA state playoff field for the first time since 2016. Maine West second year head coach George Klupchak will look towards his starting lineup, which welcomes back 13 returning starters (6 offense 7 defense) as a key this summer. The Warriors will also look towards it's underclassmen group to help them fill some key graduation losses from a season ago. The biggest question for Maine West is can they get back it's program's momentum that they have been building since former HC Jason Kradman took over the program in 2014.
