Impact Player for Lockport:

Senior TE Hyatt Timosciek (6-foot-6, 230 pounds) is one of a few returning starters who made a major impact for the Porters as an underclassmen last season. Timosciek is a big target in the Porters play action passing game who will be asked to provide more leadership both on and off the field this summer for Lockport. Timosciek can play at a few different positions if needed (TTE/WR/DE) and look for more colleges to look harder at Timosciek this summer and fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Lockport Porters:

The Porters (13-1) wrapped up a state title winning season in 2021 as the Porters posted a 13-1 record and won the 2021 Class 8A state title. The Porters made the 8A state playoff field and defeated Lyons Township, Glenbard West, Glenbard North, Loyola and then Maine South in the 8A state title game. Thge Porters and head coach George Czart will look to reload on both sides of the football in 2022. Lockport graduated 17 senior starters from last year's 8A state title team and the biggest question is are the Porters program ready to reload year in and year out and play at the highest level of competition in Class 8A? The Porters will be less experienced to start the 2022 season, yet this program has always had impressive numbers at all levels. Will the talent level remain as high as it was in 2021? Look for Lockport to again challenge for the SWSB conference title and in Class 8A in 2022.
